But these unsung heroes of the Kansas City community are doing much more than that - every day they educate, influence, encourage, inspire, strengthen, and reassure those in their care. They are the world-changers that operate behind-the-scenes, the ones who may rarely be recognized but their presence is always felt. In May, we have the two chances to thank nurses and teachers officially for all of their commitment and dedication.
