Floral Designs to Thank Nurses & Teachers
“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.” Margaret Mead
They report to work every day, and they will be the first ones to tell you that they are only doing their jobs. But these unsung heroes of the Kansas City community are doing much more than that – every day they educate, influence, encourage, inspire, strengthen, and reassure those in their care. They are the world-changers that operate behind-the-scenes, the ones who may rarely be recognized but their presence is always felt. In May, we have the two chances to thank nurses and teachers officially for all of their commitment and dedication.
National Teachers Week is May 7-13 and National Nurses Week is celebrated May 6-12.
By the Numbers: Amazingly, there are 3.1 million teachers in the United States – and approximately the same number of nurses.
But for all those millions of professionals, one or two that have genuinely touched your heart and your life. Whether a teacher who believed in your abilities even when you did not; or a nurse who stayed late to reassure you and answer any questions you had – they really are quiet heroes. Tobler’s Flowers has gorgeous and unique floral designs as well as delicious gourmet gift baskets that are designed to perfectly express your gratitude.
Get Social: Tuesday, May 9 is National Teacher’s Day. Post photos of you with your favorite teacher or mentor, and include the hashtag #ThankATeacher.
If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. – John Quincy Adams
Whether you choose roses to thank nurses, or lilies to recognize teachers – Tobler’s Flowers would like to join you in letting all of our Kansas City teachers and nurses know that we appreciate all they do.
